workshops for theatre makers at The Barn, Kilkenny with Limbik Theatre (UK) Drawing on the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq, these two days of workshops are an introduction to making theatre that communicates beyond the spoken text. Through the use of images and action, we hope to begin an exploration of a theatre that is fully, visually alive. We will examine the relationship between actors and space, and the ways in which actors communicate simply through how they cross the stage, or pick up a teacup. The workshops are intended for both actors and directors, and can be be taken individually, or as a series. Saturdays 06th & 13th March. Call Barnstorm for further information.
